Stefan Karlsson, CFA®

Stefan, the Chief Investment Officer, joined Aureus in 2011 as director of research for the Core Equity Strategy and served as co-portfolio manager for the Dividend Strategy. Prior to Aureus, he focused primarily on equity research and commercial credit analysis. His roles included associate director at UBS Investment Research, operations analyst at Paulson & Co., and operations analyst at Valley National Bank.

Stefan earned his BA from Brown University and MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, where he was awarded the Kenshin Oshima Prize for academic achievement. He is a CFA charterholder.
