President & Chief Executive Officer
Thad, the President & CEO, joined Aureus in 2005 and was co-portfolio manager of our Core Equity Strategy. He brings extensive experience in equity analysis, company valuation, and portfolio management. He came to Aureus from Bear Sterns Asset Management, where he was a vice president responsible for research and management of large-cap value equity portfolios. Previously, he served as vice president and portfolio analyst for Putnam Investments and associate research analyst at Banc of America Securities (Montgomery Securities).
Thad earned his BA from Harvard College and MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. In addition, he serves on the Finance Committee for the Shaw Fund for Mariners’ Children and on the Audit Committee for Shady Hill School. He is a CFA charterholder.
